Wow! I didn’t even know you could do that! I may have to try that! I do so much laundry, that would definitely help on expenses. Now, I don’t do nearly as much as you do…next give us tips on how you keep up with it, lol!

Hi Dina-Marie,
The other week I was almost out of laundry detergent and happened to have ingredients on hand for making a homemade batch – well, it worked great! Now since for my first batch I had borax from the states, I need to search for a substitute. The detergent really works great and the clothes smell clean and fresh using just a small amount! Thanks for sharing your findings and experience!

Hey! Wow that is a great way to go about living frugally! i had NO IDEA anyone would even THINK of trying that! in fact, i don’t think i ever thought of what people did to wash their clothes in the no-detergent era- YOU AMAZE ME! Very cool!
